This review provides detailed information on the synthesis, structure, properties, methods for studying, and areas of application conductive polymers synthesized basis phenylenediamines. Conductive based phenylenediamines are cationic salts highly conjugated by electrochemical or chemical oxidation. Chemical oxidative polymerization has led to formation various functional polymers. Depending reaction conditions, polyphenylenediamines produced as powders, colloidal dispersions, thin films, composites. The close similarity structure polyanilines endows both groups with some similar such as, example, redox activity. They act reductants noble-metal compounds corresponding metals. Due electrical conductivity activity, well dependence degree protonation, it is possible create sensors polyphenylenediamines.
